One of the greatest romanian opera singers
As a soloist, Florin Estefan won numerous competitions and performed on various stages both in Romania and abroad (Greece, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Czech Republic, Ireland, Japan, United States, Australia and Great Britain, Bulgaria, Egypt), performing a series of important roles.
As General Manager of the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca, Florin Estefan managed to increase the participation of young people in the institution’s performances, through numerous premieres and event performances, through a new approach to the public and through programs and projects intended for everyone, in unconventional spaces , with free access, such as Opera Aperta and La Opera.

While still a student, at just 20 years old, he became a soloist at the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca. In December 2007, he completed his studies at the ”Cardiff International Academy of Voice”, where he had the privilege of studying under the guidence of the renowned tenor Dennis O’Neill.

In 2012, Florin Estefan returned to the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca as a soloist and, in February 2015, he was appointed General Manager of the esteemed institution. At the time, he became the youngest manager in the opera's 97-year history, leading Romania’s first established opera house with distinction.
